MPRP represents a lifetime residency initiative, necessitating PR card renewal every five years. The renewal process is extended to encompass children who have recently turned 14 and 18 years old.
Under this program, the investor and their family are required to travel to Malta twice: once upon approval of the application and subsequently every five years for biometric verification as part of the card renewal process. Rental Property:
- Pay a non-refundable contribution fee of (€) 98,000 to the government after the application is approved.
- Make a philanthropic donation of (€)2000.
- Rent a residential unit for five years in Malta for (€) 10,000 in the South of Malta and Gozo per year. The remaining (€)40,000 are to be paid in the next 4 years.
Purchase a Property:
- Pay a non-refundable contribution fee of (€) 68,000 to the government after the application is approved.
- Make a philanthropic donation of (€) 2000.
- Purchase a residential unit for five years in the South of Malta / Gozo for a minimum (€) 300,000 or in Central Malta for (€) 350,000.
