▲ Minimum CRS Score Required: 539
This latest draw comes just one day after a Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw on November 18, which invited 174 candidates with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 816.
Recent Express Entry Activity
Last week, IRCC issued 1,933 ITAs across multiple programs, including CEC, PNP, and French-language-focused categories.
Increasing Immigration Targets
According to Canada’s updated Immigration Levels Plan, Express Entry admissions are expected to rise significantly next year. Here’s what’s planned:
▲ 124,680 new Express Entry admissions in 2025.
▲ 82,000+ spots allocated to the new In-Canada Focus category, primarily for CEC candidates.
▲ 41,700 admissions reserved for candidates with skills matching Canada’s in-demand professions, labeled as the Federal Economic Priorities category.
What is Express Entry?
Express Entry is Canada’s online system for managing immigration applications under three programs:
1) Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
2) Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP)
3) Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP)
It uses a point-based system called CRS, which scores candidates on factors like:
▲ Age
▲ Work experience
▲ Education
▲ Language skills
Additional points are awarded for having Canadian education or work experience, a sibling in Canada, or a provincial nomination, which adds 600 points to a candidate’s CRS score.
